Since my last post I have been working a lot, trying to fill my pockets for Florida, but I did find time to go for a hike down the Flåm Valley with Josephine and Ida, and I also took Tuva to visit Josephine’s farm. She has been dying to go ever since Karoline came back from the farm all excited, and we had a perfect day! The sun was out, and since one of Josephine’s dogs can play hide-and-seek, we were entertained for hours.
The day we hiked was also a perfect day, even though it started with me oversleeping. Luckily Ida woke me up in time for the train. In order to walk/cycle down the Flåm Valley, you have to catch the Flåmsbana (Flåm Railway) up to the top station. The route is scenic, and one of Norway’s number 1 tourist attractions! With good reason.
The train ride takes approximately 1 hour, and along the way it stops at Kjosfossen (the Kjos waterfall). If you are lucky, you might catch a glimpse of Huldri, a mythical creature featured in many local stories and fairytales. Can you see her?
Also, Marita hinted that I could update you about the Disney process (don’t think I’m not excited just because I’m not posting about it), but truth is, not much has happened as of now. I have received my official hire letter and some fun information to prepare me, as well as some contracts giving me the impression that I have signed away my soul, but I think most of the action is ahead of me, since it is now less than 2 months since I go!
